WelcomeHere are some facts about me: I started Counselling in Manchester in 2006. I became a counsellor because I felt strongly about wanting to help people during difficult times in their lives. I qualified in Person Centred Counselling in 2005 after training at Wythenshawe Hospital Staff Counselling Department and Trafford Bereavement Service at Trafford’s Macmillan Centre. As a qualified counsellor I worked at Trafford General Hospital in their Occupational Health Department and undertook further training with Relate to work with young people in schools. In 2009 I completed a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their Ethical Framework. How I workI listen to my clients and help them clarify their thoughts and feelings. This is the starting point for my work. My aim is to help you to:
My experience of counselling has shown me that no matter how hard life can be you will find a way through the worst moments. My belief in your unique ability to face your problems underpins my whole way of working. We all need help sometimes. I am here to help you now. |
